Nominations are now open for the Hectorville Football Club Committee for the 2026 season. We are seeking passionate individuals interested in being part of the 2026 Hectorville Football Club Committee.
Committee Positions:
Football Chairman:
The Football Chairperson is responsible for leading the club in setting and achieving its goals and objectives, ensuring strong governance, strategic direction, and operational oversight. This role ensures the club is administered in accordance with its rules and constitution, while also meeting all legal and compliance obligations set by the Adelaide Football League and SANFL. The Chairperson plays a key leadership role in maintaining the integrity, accountability, and long-term success of the club, and reports to the Hectorville Sports and Community Club Board.
Men’s Football Director:
The Men’s Football Director is responsible for coordinating, recruiting, maintaining, and overseeing all aspects of the men’s football program, including match day operations. This role ensures the effective management and development of the program, supporting players, coaches, and staff to uphold the club’s standards and goals. The Men’s Football Director will work closely with relevant stakeholders and report directly to the HFC Football Committee.
Women’s Football Director:
The Women’s Football Director is responsible for coordinating, recruiting, maintaining, and overseeing all aspects of the Women’s football program, including match day operations. This role ensures the effective management and development of the program, supporting players, coaches, and staff to uphold the club’s standards and goals. The Women’s Football Director will work closely with relevant stakeholders and report directly to the HFC Football Committee.
Junior Coordinator:
The Junior Football Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and overseeing all aspects of the junior football program, including Auskick, in conjunction with the junior coaching coordinators. This role ensures the smooth operation, development, and growth of junior teams and programs, supporting coaches, players, and families while upholding the values and standards of the club. The Junior Football Coordinator plays a key role in nurturing young talent, introducing new participants to football through Auskick, and fostering a positive, inclusive environment. They report directly to the HFC Football Committee.
Club Secretary:
The Secretary is responsible for managing, collecting, reviewing, and distributing the club’s information and communications. This role ensures the smooth flow of information within the club, supports the administration of committee meetings, and oversees the documentation and reporting of club activities. The Secretary plays a key role in the coordination of club business and supports both the committee and volunteers in staying informed and organised. The Club Secretary will work closely with relevant stakeholders and report directly to the HFC Football Committee.
Social Coordinator:
The Social Director is responsible for overseeing the club’s social calendar, organising and managing all events and media-related activities. This role plays a key part in promoting the club within the wider community and enhancing member engagement. The Social Director will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure successful planning and execution of social functions and will report directly to the HFC Football Committee.
Sponsorship director:
The Sponsorship Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, securing, and managing all sponsorships for HFC, including sponsorships for the senior players. This role plays a key part in building and maintaining relationships with sponsors to support the financial health and growth of the club. The Sponsorship Coordinator will ensure sponsor agreements are fulfilled and represented professionally, while actively seeking new partnership opportunities. They will report directly to the HFC Football Committee.
Treasurer:
The Club Treasurer is responsible for ensuring that a reliable financial management and reporting system is in place and operating effectively. This role provides accurate, timely financial information to the club committee to support informed decision-making. The Treasurer oversees the club’s income, expenses, budgeting, and financial compliance, always ensuring the financial health and accountability of the club. They report directly to the HFC Football Committee.
