Brett enjoyed a 17-year career at the Adelaide 36ers in the NBL from 1992-2009. Also being selected to represent Australia at the 1996, 2000 and 2004 Summer Olympic Games, as well as the 1998 FIBA World Championship.

Scott is currently the head coach of the Adelaide Lightning of the Women’s National Basketball League. During his own playing career he enjoyed 3 NBL Championships in 1986 and 1998 with the Adelaide 36ers and 1992 with South East Melbourne Magic.
