HBBC 2024 WINTER REGISTRATION

Thank you for registering your interest to play with Hectorville Basketball Club for Winter 2024.

You have received the link to this page as you have been provisionally nominated on a team for Winter 2024.

ALL steps in this registration process need to be complete before the 21st April to ensure your spot on the team.

STEP 1

Please note: A yearly fee of $27.00 is also payable to Basketball SA for association registration, which at the time of online registration will need to be paid directly to Basketball SA before you can proceed, please note this fee completely separate to club registration fees, and has nothing to do with Heccies.

STEP 1A

GAMEDAY REGISTRATION
Only new players and those who did not play in Summer 23-24 are required to register on GameDay Registration >
 

This creates the database for the ACBA and Heccies, it ensures players are visible on the tablets courtside. You will not be able to play without this registration. 

STEP 2

SEASON SUBSCRIPTION FEES

Fee rate is $305 to be paid by the 28th April.

How to pay fees using 2024 Sports Voucher:

Vouchers are available to all South Australian children in Reception to Year 9*. Each eligible child is able to claim one voucher per calendar year.

Please fill in the details at HECCIESSPORTVOUCHER24 then, make payment of your Subscription Fees (minus the $100)

The Fees cover the costs of:

  • Team registration
  • Weekly game fees (The club pays all Saturday game fees)
  • Training facility
  • Other small admin costs

STEP 3

UNIFORMS

Players need to be in Club Playing Tops and BLUE shorts (without pockets)

New tops can be arranged by Emailing your Name, Team (if known) and Player’s top size to [email protected] ASAP. You will be contacted with further information. Please do this ASAP. Orders can take 6 weeks to arrive.

AGE GROUPS & TEAMS

Heccies nominate teams in all age grades noting the age cut-off date for Winter 2023 is the player’s age as at 1st October 2024. This means your child must be under the age of the competition at that date. The age grades for the competition are as follows:

Girls:    U10s, U12s, U14s, U16s, U19s
Boys:    U8s, U10s, U12s, U14s, U16s, U18s
Mixed:  U8s and U10s are mixed.

Game times for Saturdays as a guideline are as follows:

  • U8s & U10s – 8:00am / 8:45am / 9:30am / 10:15am / 11:45am
  • U12s – 11:45am / 12:30pm / 1:15pm
  • U14s – 1:15pm / 2:00pm / 2:45pm
  • U16s – 2:45pm / 3:30pm / 4:15pm / 5:00pm
  • U18s – 4:15pm / 5:00pm/5:45pm

Round 1 – May 4th
No games June 8th and July 13th
Round 19 (And Grand final day) – September 21st

TRAINING

You will receive notification on team training times once we have finalised registrations.

As a guide, we have hired the Magill UniSA Campus facilities on Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays from 5pm and will ensure all teams have a timeslot to train.

Training will start the week beginning 29th April and will be 1 hour.
